Welcome message

Dear colleagues,

We are pleased to inform you that the organizational phase of the 2026 World Petunia Days (WPD) is underway!

The next congress will take place in Rome, from June 3 to 5, 2026, organized by Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome—a young and dynamic institution committed to education and research within the One Health framework.

The Campus is located in the Decima Malafede Natural Park, on the outskirts of the Eternal City, and we hope it will be possible to visit its research facilities during your stay in Rome. However, to allow participants to fully enjoy the city, the organizing committee has decided that the scientific sessions will be held at the Fondazione OIKIA multifunctional hall, located in the Prati district—a charming area very close to Lepanto Metro Station, offering easy access to strategic spots in the city (for example, St. Peter’s Square is just a 25-minute walk away, and Piazza del Popolo less than 15 minutes).

As always, this will be an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas and scientific insights, while also enjoying some wonderful evenings immersed in the art and history of one of Europe’s most fascinating capitals!

We look forward to welcoming you and your teams to Rome—please save the dates in your calendars!
